Washingtonian's 100 Very Best Restaurants List Is Out: Here Are the Top 20 Spots - Washingtonian

In the restaurant world, 2019 was the year that gave and the year that took away. We lost many favorites—RIP Ray's the Steaks, Sally's Middle Name, Proof, and Himitsu. But oh, how we gained. This past year brought newcomers like Queen's English, Rooster and Owl, Thompson Italian, and, most importantly, the restaurant who won the top spot in our ranked list: the modern Korean Anju in Dupont Circle.

The list, which hits newsstands today, is the result of nearly a year's worth of research. Anna Spiegel, Jessica Sidman, Cynthia Hacinli and I visited over 300 restaurants in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. As we have in the last many years, we ranked every one (and whittled endlessly—we felt passionately about around 130 places total).

Our top 20 is an exciting and eclectic mix. There are special-occasion dining rooms like Komi, Minibar, and Métier (all former #1 winners). Mediterranean lunch spot Green Almond Pantry, Trinidadian destination Cane, and Ivy City fine-dining room Gravitas are among the first-timers on our list. Other places, like Bresca and Rose's Luxury, have been around for a while, but are operating at the top of their game. There's plenty to dig into—at every price point.

1. Anju

The guys behind the fast-casual Chiko create thrilling Korean plates—and panchan—that both push boundaries and honor tradition.

2. The Dabney

Jeremiah Langhorne's oft-changing menu is packed with mid-Atlantic indulgences both humble and grand.

3. Sushi Nakazawa

The Trump Hotel location might be a dealbreaker, but there is pitch-perfect omakase happening in this minimalist dining room.

4. Komi

Johnny Monis and Anne Marler's 17 year-old dining room in Dupont Circle is still putting out thrilling Mediterranean tasting menus.

5. Elle

By day, the Mount Pleasant cafe serves fantastic breakfasts and lunches; at night, the dining room turns out plates that are both surprising and satisfying.

6. Poca Madre

Victor Albisu's mod-Mex dining room in Penn Quarter wows with ceviches, DIY tacos, and mezcal-spiked cocktails.

7. Bresca

Ryan Ratino channels a range of influences—midwestern meat and potatoes, a destination-worthy osteria—at his bright, brass-lined 14th Street dining room.

8. Bad Saint

Good news about this teeny Filipino dining room—it's still at the top of its game, and it now takes reservations.

9. Pineapple and Pearls

The tasting menu at Aaron Silverman's luxe dining room is currently kicking things off with tableside martinis.

10. Cane

Chef/owner Peter Prime celebrates bold, bright Trinidadian flavors at his H Street hotspot.

11. The Inn at Little Washington

This Rappahannock County tasting-menu destination is all about over-the-top splendor—with a dash of whimsy.

12. Kinship/Métier

At this sophisticated tasting room and upstairs à la carte restaurant, Eric Ziebold mingles an elegant French sensibility with hearty American flavors.

13. Nasime

This sliver of a Japanese dining room in Old Town serves a single five-course menu—a great value—each night.

14. Mama Chang

Acclaimed chef Peter Chang pays tribute to the matriarchs of his Chinese family at this buzzy Fairfax spot.

15. Kith and Kin

Last year, Kwame Onwuachi wrote a memoir and snagged a James Beard award. What's most impressive, though, is that his Afro-Caribbean restaurant at the Wharf keeps getting better and better.

16. Minibar

José Andrés is behind this surrealist odyssey of a tasting menu (20-plus courses!).

17. Gravitas

One of the city's more vibrant tasting-menu experiences comes out of this warehouse-chic Ivy City space.

18. Izakaya Seki

Check out the hand-illustrated specials menu at this discreet, father/daughter-owned Japanese izakaya.

19. Green Almond Pantry

The eight-seat lunch counter and market serves the kind of Mediterranean food you fantasize about stumbling across in an alley somewhere far away.

20. Rose's Luxury

Wisely, owner Aaron Silverman has brought back some of the hits that put Rose's on the culinary map in 2013.

Myanmar ordered to prevent genocide against Rohingya by top UN court - CNN

The case was brought to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Netherlands by the tiny West African nation of Gambia, which in November alleged that Myanmar committed "genocidal acts" that "were intended to destroy the Rohingya as a group" through mass murder, rape, and destruction of communities.
It asked the 15-judge court to enact provisional measures to compel the Myanmar government and military to end all acts that amount to or contribute to genocide, and to ensure Myanmar preserves evidence that could play a part in the case.
The emergency measures act like an injunction while the main genocide case gets underway. That central case has not yet been heard and it could take years to reach a verdict.

In its ruling on Thursday, which was unanimous, the court determined that it has jurisdiction to hear allegations of genocide made by Gambia against Myanmar.
The court found that Myanmar did not present concrete measures "recognizing and ensuring (the) right of Rohingya to exist as a protected group" under the genocide convention. And it said there was still a "real and imminent risk of irreparable prejudice" against the rights of the Rohingya.
The court ruled that Myanmar must take all steps within its power to prevent acts against the Rohingya such as "killing, causing serious bodily or mental harm, deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to bring about destruction of the group, and imposing measures intended to prevent births."
The Myanmar military must also ensure it does not "commit any acts of genocide, or acts of conspiracy to commit genocide, incitement to commit genocide, or conspiracy to commit genocide."
While Thursday's decision by the court is final and binding, it doesn't have the power to enforce its ruling.
The genocide case attracted worldwide attention when former democracy icon and Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi personally defended Myanmar at the ICJ in December.
Suu Kyi, Myanmar's de facto leader, called the allegations that the army acted with genocidal intent "incomplete and misleading."
Addressing the court, Suu Kyi said that "genocidal intent cannot be the only hypothesis," regarding the Myanmar military's operations in Rakhine State in the summer of 2017.

More than 740,000 Rohingya fled from Myanmar into neighboring Bangladesh in 2016 and 2017 as the Myanmar military conducted a campaign of violence in Rakhine state. Survivors have recounted harrowing atrocities including gang rape, mass killings, torture and widespread destruction of property at the hands of the army.
The violence has been described as genocide by a United Nations fact-finding commission. Those Rohingya still in Rakhine aresegregated and forced to live in conditions akin to prison camps, with restrictions on movement, education, and access to healthcare.
Ahead of the ruling, a group of Rohingya women issued a statement saying: "The scenes coming out of The Hague made us feel stronger and even more united."
"We know that this fight for justice will be long and is far from being won," the statement continued. "Many of our brothers and sisters are still at risk and we demand that they are protected."
Akila Radhakrishnan, President of the Global Justice Center, said the ruling was a legal statement and a powerful recognition of what the Rohingya went through.
"It's like a surface affirmation from the court, that kind of the basics of the case have been met," she said. "There's power in acknowledgment, there's power in another country standing up for your rights, taking someone to court, putting a lot behind exposing in a very serious manner what happened. I think that that can't be lost in this."
Myanmar's main argument rested on the premise that the country was dealing with an armed conflict in Rakhine that was challenging the "sovereignty and security of Myanmar."
Days before the ICJ ruling on Thursday, a Myanmar government-appointed commission called the Independent Commission of Enquiry (ICOE) issued a report saying that while the military may have committed "war crimes and serious human rights abuses," there was "no evidence" that the military's actions were committed with "genocidal intent."
Rights groups slammed the report, which has not been released to the public in full.
"Contrary to the UN's findings, the report refuses to acknowledge the scale of atrocities against the Rohingya, shockingly denies the military's widespread use of sexual violence, and fails to hold senior military officials responsible. The report isn't a credible basis for justice and accountability for mass crimes," Brad Adams, Asia director at Human Rights Watch, said in a statement.
Gambia's arguments are based on the UN Fact-Finding Mission's 2018 and 2019 reports that extensively detail atrocities carried out by the Myanmar military against Rohingya Muslims, and call for the country's generals to face an international tribunal on charges of genocide.
The mission concluded that coordinated attacks and sexual violence against the Rohingya in Rakhine were pre-planned by senior military leaders "to weaken the social cohesion of the Rohingya community and contribute to the destruction of the Rohingya as a group and the breakdown of the Rohingya way of life."
It details horrific accounts from survivors who spoke of gang-rape, mutilation, torture, mass killings, families being burnt alive in houses, and large-scale destruction of property.
Myanmar must submit a report to the ICJ to show it is enacting the emergency measures within four months, and every six months after that.
The ICJ, however, doesn't have the power to enforce its decisions. Its orders are sent to the UN Security Council, which could decide to enact a resolution or take other concrete measures if Myanmar refuses to comply with the court's ruling.
The court will now proceed into the merits of the central genocide case, with both Gambia and Myanmar filing arguments and objections.
"Get ready for a long haul as you're talking two to three years," said Radhakrishnan. "This is not a slam dunk case."

"Yang dikerjakan di situ ada kolam, ada lokasi upacara, plaza upacara. Monas kan selama ini kan nggak ada itu, kalau upacara bikin panggung. Muhidin juga menyebut nantinya plaza upacara yang dibangun bisa digunakan untuk pameran alutsista oleh Kementerian Pertahanan. Bahkan, jika seluruh tahapan revitalisasi selesai, menurutnya, Monas akan tersambung dengan MRT.

"Ini kan baru tahap pertama, nanti ada MRT dan sebagainya. Tahap pertama plaza upacara dan kolam, yang tadinya tempat parkir itu digunakan jadi plaza upacara untuk pemda dan pemerintah pusat. Jadi, kalau Kemhan akan pamer alutsista, tidak perlu jauh-jauh, bisa depan istana digelar, plaza upacara itu, strukturnya kuat itu," ujar Muhidin.

Kembali Diperiksa Terkait Kematian Lina Jubaedah, Ini Yang Ditanya Polisi

Beritaterheboh.com - Suami Lina Jubaedah, Teddy Pardiana, kembali dimintai keterangan oleh penyidik di Mapolrestabes Bandung pada Kamis (23/1) siang.

Ditemui setelah diperiksa, Teddy menuturkan, dirinya dimintai keterangan terkait dengan lokasi terakhir Lina liburan. Mantan istri Sule itu diketahui sempat pergi bersama anak-anaknya.

"Jadi dimintai keterangan buat lokasi terakhir liburan almarhumah bersama anak-anaknya di mana," ujar Teddy.

Dari keterangan polisi, Teddy mengatakan, hasil autopsi jenazah Lina belum dapat disampaikan karena masih ada proses yang mesti diselesaikan.

"Kalau hasil autopsi saya tanyain juga barusan, katanya belum, karena masih ada beberapa yang harus diselesaikan. Kalau kendala saya kurang tahu juga, saya ingin secepatnya ada tahu hasilnya," kata Teddy.

Teddy menambahkan, dirinya ingin segera tahu hasil autopsi itu agar dapat fokus mengurus anak buah cintanya dengan Lina. Belakangan ini, dia tidak dapat fokus mengurus anak karena polisi berulangkali memintai keterangan. Dia mengaku belum dapat memperkirakan hasil dari autopsi.

"Biar saya lebih fokus lagi ke Dede kecil, karena emang belum beres juga mau ke sana sini kurang nyaman. Karena memang dari kepolisian minta informasi terus biar cepat beres. Hasilnya belum dapat diperkirakan soalnya, biar hasilnya maksimal mungkin," ucap dia.

Teddy menuturkan, ia tak merasa disudutkan dalam perkara kematian istrinya. Sehingga, dia memutuskan tidak menyewa pengacara untuk melakukan pendampingan.

"Sampai saat ini juga saya belum sewa lawyer atau memang ada beberapa temen yang dari media juga nyaranin advokat. Ada lima, tapi saya enggak ambil keputusan ambil lawyer, karena memang tinggal nunggu hasil dari autopsi. Mudah-mudahan hasilnya baik untuk semua," tuturnya.


Teddy juga masih menganggap Lina meninggal secara wajar, dan bakal bersikap kooperatif ketika dimintai keterangan oleh penyidik.

"Kalau kekhawatiran saya enggak sih, karena emang itu udah kematian takdir ditulis dari Gusti Allah. Saya sampai saat ini kooperatif sama kepolisian di minta data sudah dikasih jadi memang tinggal nunggu hasilnya aja terus kalau memang disudutkan ya emang mau apa lagi," imbuhnya.

Sebelumnya, anak dari komedian Sule, Rizky Febian melapor ke Satreskrim Polrestabes Bandung terkait kejanggalan meninggalnya sang ibunda, Lina Jubaedah. Kejanggalan yang dimaksud yakni terkait adanya luka lebam di tubuh Lina.


Atas laporan tersebut, polisi melakukan olah TKP di kediaman Lina dan suaminya, Teddy Pardiana, di Kompleks Margahayu Raya, Bandung, pada 8 Januari lalu.

Dalam olah TKP itu, polisi mengamankan sejumlah barang, yakni CCTV, komputer PC berwarna hitam, dan ponsel milik Lina. Polisi pun melakukan proses pembongkaran makam untuk autopsi jenazah Lina pada 9 Januari lalu.

Lina Jubaedah meninggal dunia pada 4 Januari lalu di usia 42 tahun. Mantan istri Sule ini jatuh pingsan usai salat Subuh di kediamannya bersama Teddy. Teddy bilang, istrinya itu meninggal karena penyakit lambung.(Kumparan.com/Artikel Asli)

Arya Permana Beberkan Kunci Sukses Turunkan Beran Badan hingga 109 Kg

Arya berhasil menurunkan berat badan hingga 109 kilogram (kg) sejak menjalani sejumlah treatment khusus sejak tahun 2016.

Berbagi cerita, Arya mengaku proses pengurusan badan diawali dengan menjalani operasi pengecilan lambung di rumah sakit Omni Alam Sutera, Tangerang, Banten pada Juni 2017.

Arya mengatakan, dirinya bisa dioperasi karena diajak oleh salah satu wartawan Inggris.

"Dulu sih diajak sama salah satu wartawan dari Inggris. Diajak ke rumah sakit, di situ ketemu dokter dan disarankan untuk operasi," kata Arya saat ditemui di kawasan Tendean, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis (23/1/2020).

Kemudian, Arya juga mengungkapkan dibantu oleh binaragawan Ade Rai dalam proses pengurusan badannya itu sejak pertengahan tahun 2016.

Ade Rai disebut mengenalkannya pada sejumlah gerakan dan alat olahraga yang membantunya dalam menjadi kurus.

Tetapi, Arya mengatakan bahwa kunci dirinya berhasil kurus juga ada pada konsumsi makanan.

Arya mengaku mulai mengurangi konsumsi makanan yang mengandung gula dan minyak.

Menurut Arya, kedua orangtuanya memasak masakan yang mendukung penurunan berat badannya, seperti ayam dada bakar.

"Kalau dulu kan sedikit-sedikit masih lapar, tetapi sekarang sudah kebiasaan," ujar Arya.


Lebih lanjut, Arya menekankan bahwa tubuh kurusnya didapat tidak dengan mengonsumsi obat-obatan diet dan juga tidak berpuasa.

Kini, Arya sangat senang karena bisa bergerak secara leluasa. Sebab, dulu ia hanya berbaring di atas tempat tidur setiap hari.

"Sekarang sudah bisa main bola, bareng temen-temen," ucapnya dengan sedikit tersenyum.

Meskipun berat badannya sudah turun, Arya Permana tetap berkomunikasi dengan Ade Rai setiap hari. Ia pun bersyukur bisa mengenal Ade Rai.(kompas.com)

WE ARE NOW ON DAY THREE of the impeachment trial of President DONALD J. TRUMP. The House managers have presented the same detailed case that they laid out in their report and in their marathon hearings. Little of it is new, of course, because these events have been laid out for months and months, in hearings, in the press and in a nearly 300-page committee report.

YET THE MAIN OBSERVATION REPUBLICANS seem to have is that none of this is new. "Two-and-a-half hours and nothing new," said Sen. JOHN BARRASSO (R-Wyo.), after Rep. ADAM SCHIFF'S (D-Calif.) stem-winder of an opening. Sen. JOHN CORNYN (R-Texas) said: "So far we haven't learned anything new." Our to-be-sure clause: Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) said he's learned a lot, per NYT's Nick Fandos … John Bresnahan on the "nothing new" thing

CORNYN -- who spoke to us just outside the chamber in the mid-afternoon -- was asked by CNN'S TED BARRETT, a Hill vet, if he was troubled by the president's behavior. CORNYN responded: "That's really not the question, Ted. I mean, the question is whether this is treason, bribery, or another high crime and misdemeanor. I mean, this is the nuclear option under our Constitution: to remove a duly elected president by the vote of the House and the Senate. This is something we should not do unless that constitutional standard is met, and I'm struggling to see how that is even close."

THIS WAS, INDEED, the fear of many Democrats who slow-walked toward impeachment.

ABOUT SIX MONTHS AGO, a top Democrat who was resisting the growing calls to impeach TRUMP laid out his thinking. As special counsel ROBERT MUELLER'S findings reverberated in Washington, he said he was "wrestling" with two competing arguments.

"THE MOST ATTRACTIVE THING to me about impeaching this president is it's the strongest form of censure we have," this Democrat said. "Even if he's acquitted, it puts a stain on his name in history. But as I mentioned, the flipside is terribly, tragically true, which is: An acquittal will be trumpeted as a vindication, and that sends its own message to history."

HALF A YEAR LATER, that top Democrat, SCHIFF -- a man who now has left his mark on a Capitol he once wandered without discernible impact -- now confronts the exact scenario he once feared: The Senate is likely to put its stamp of approval on Trump's solicitation of dirt on a campaign rival from a foreign government.

AS FAR AS WE KNOW, there are no plans to allow those Republicans who are troubled by Trump's actions in Ukraine to express their disapproval in some formal way -- be it a resolution or another official action. All they can do is go on the record with their concerns.

WHAT THIS MEANS is that unless the dynamics in the Senate change in the coming days, or something jolts the proceedings -- JOHN BOLTON coming forward with shocking new information, for example -- the U.S. Congress will soon say it's OK to use the power of the presidency to conduct opposition research on an opponent.

PRECEDENT MATTERS in Washington. Just look at how BILL CLINTON'S Senate trial became the blueprint for TRUMP'S. The next president will now be able to argue that it's no problem to lean on a foreign government for political help. After all, Congress said so.

AND SCHIFF saw it coming.

MIKE SHEAR called SCHIFF'S case "meticulous and scathing" on A1 of the NYT this morning. … KYLE CHENEY and ANDREW DESIDERIO said Democrats "unleashed the flood."

BURGESS EVERETT and JOHN BRESNAHAN: "Trump disrupts Republican trial strategy: But GOP senators rebuffed the president's suggestion to bring in new witnesses": "Senate Republicans have been publicly and privately maneuvering to give Trump as quick an acquittal as possible while still keeping 51 GOP senators on board. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has largely thrown cold water on the idea of hearing from new witnesses and many of his members are eager to end the trial, not extend it."

NYT'S CHARLIE SAVAGE on the contrasting legal strategies: "In its opening days, the House managers have focused on the facts. They are trying to build a clear and coherent story around their theme that the president abused his power — delving into the details, putting up slides to summarize major points, and playing a well-organized selection of video clips of statements by Mr. Trump and by House witnesses.

"Eschewing props, the defense team has focused instead on the process. They have used their time to reinforce the House Republican theme that impeachment is a sham and unfair to Mr. Trump — urging the Senate to swiftly dispose of the case without subpoenaing any additional documents or testimony." NYT

WHAT GORDON SONDLAND'S UP TO, via WaPo's Michael Birnbaum, John Hudson, Josh Dawsey and Aaron Davis: "Trump's ambassador to the European Union held meetings with the E.U. official in charge of emergency management. He hosted the Korean ambassador at the U.S. mission. And, he sat with the E.U.'s Brexit negotiator. Sondland had hoped that by staying quiet and going about his business that he could stay 'out of the spotlight' of the impeachment drama unfolding at the U.S. Capitol, according to a close associate. …

"Trump has not spoken with Sondland in the two months since the explosive testimony, according to two senior U.S. officials. The two last saw each other at the White House on Oct. 2 for the Finnish president's visit." WaPo

OUCH! -- "'Where Is Kevin?' McCarthy Finds His Voice as Trump's Mouthpiece," by NYT's Elizabeth Williamson: "'Congress no longer operates as an independent branch of government, but as an appendage of the executive branch,' said Tom Davis, a former Republican House member from Virginia. 'He is made for that role.'"

… AND GAETZ GETS FROZEN OUT … MELANIE ZANONA and MARIANNE LEVINE: "Rep. Matt Gaetz, one of President Donald Trump's staunchest allies on Capitol Hill, suspects a senior White House aide pushed to keep him off the president's impeachment defense team — weeks after the Florida Republican voted to rein in Trump's war powers.

"Gaetz (R-Fla.) was in the mix to become one of Trump's impeachment advisers, a group of House Republicans who are expected to assist the White House with messaging and strategy throughout the Senate impeachment trial. But Gaetz — a conservative firebrand who caught Trump's eye through his feisty appearances and memorable soundbites on cable news — did not make the final list, which ultimately included eight other House Republicans.

"Gaetz said he wasn't sure why he didn't make the cut. But Gaetz said he heard from someone in the White House that legislative affairs director Eric Ueland was 'responsible for the brush back.' 'I don't know why it would serve someone in the White House to manufacture a divide between the president and one of his best communicators during impeachment,' Gaetz said in an interview. …

POLITICO Playbook: How one top Democrat's impeachment fears came true - POLITICO

WE ARE NOW ON DAY THREE of the impeachment trial of President DONALD J. TRUMP. The House managers have presented the same detailed case that they laid out in their report and in their marathon hearings. Little of it is new, of course, because these events have been laid out for months and months, in hearings, in the press and in a nearly 300-page committee report.

YET THE MAIN OBSERVATION REPUBLICANS seem to have is that none of this is new. "Two-and-a-half hours and nothing new," said Sen. JOHN BARRASSO (R-Wyo.), after Rep. ADAM SCHIFF'S (D-Calif.) stem-winder of an opening. Sen. JOHN CORNYN (R-Texas) said: "So far we haven't learned anything new." Our to-be-sure clause: Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) said he's learned a lot, per NYT's Nick Fandos … John Bresnahan on the "nothing new" thing

CORNYN -- who spoke to us just outside the chamber in the mid-afternoon -- was asked by CNN'S TED BARRETT, a Hill vet, if he was troubled by the president's behavior. CORNYN responded: "That's really not the question, Ted. I mean, the question is whether this is treason, bribery, or another high crime and misdemeanor. I mean, this is the nuclear option under our Constitution: to remove a duly elected president by the vote of the House and the Senate. This is something we should not do unless that constitutional standard is met, and I'm struggling to see how that is even close."

THIS WAS, INDEED, the fear of many Democrats who slow-walked toward impeachment.

ABOUT SIX MONTHS AGO, a top Democrat who was resisting the growing calls to impeach TRUMP laid out his thinking. As special counsel ROBERT MUELLER'S findings reverberated in Washington, he said he was "wrestling" with two competing arguments.

"THE MOST ATTRACTIVE THING to me about impeaching this president is it's the strongest form of censure we have," this Democrat said. "Even if he's acquitted, it puts a stain on his name in history. But as I mentioned, the flipside is terribly, tragically true, which is: An acquittal will be trumpeted as a vindication, and that sends its own message to history."

HALF A YEAR LATER, that top Democrat, SCHIFF -- a man who now has left his mark on a Capitol he once wandered without discernible impact -- now confronts the exact scenario he once feared: The Senate is likely to put its stamp of approval on Trump's solicitation of dirt on a campaign rival from a foreign government.

AS FAR AS WE KNOW, there are no plans to allow those Republicans who are troubled by Trump's actions in Ukraine to express their disapproval in some formal way -- be it a resolution or another official action. All they can do is go on the record with their concerns.

WHAT THIS MEANS is that unless the dynamics in the Senate change in the coming days, or something jolts the proceedings -- JOHN BOLTON coming forward with shocking new information, for example -- the U.S. Congress will soon say it's OK to use the power of the presidency to conduct opposition research on an opponent.

PRECEDENT MATTERS in Washington. Just look at how BILL CLINTON'S Senate trial became the blueprint for TRUMP'S. The next president will now be able to argue that it's no problem to lean on a foreign government for political help. After all, Congress said so.

AND SCHIFF saw it coming.

MIKE SHEAR called SCHIFF'S case "meticulous and scathing" on A1 of the NYT this morning. … KYLE CHENEY and ANDREW DESIDERIO said Democrats "unleashed the flood."

BURGESS EVERETT and JOHN BRESNAHAN: "Trump disrupts Republican trial strategy: But GOP senators rebuffed the president's suggestion to bring in new witnesses": "Senate Republicans have been publicly and privately maneuvering to give Trump as quick an acquittal as possible while still keeping 51 GOP senators on board. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has largely thrown cold water on the idea of hearing from new witnesses and many of his members are eager to end the trial, not extend it."

NYT'S CHARLIE SAVAGE on the contrasting legal strategies: "In its opening days, the House managers have focused on the facts. They are trying to build a clear and coherent story around their theme that the president abused his power — delving into the details, putting up slides to summarize major points, and playing a well-organized selection of video clips of statements by Mr. Trump and by House witnesses.

"Eschewing props, the defense team has focused instead on the process. They have used their time to reinforce the House Republican theme that impeachment is a sham and unfair to Mr. Trump — urging the Senate to swiftly dispose of the case without subpoenaing any additional documents or testimony." NYT

WHAT GORDON SONDLAND'S UP TO, via WaPo's Michael Birnbaum, John Hudson, Josh Dawsey and Aaron Davis: "Trump's ambassador to the European Union held meetings with the E.U. official in charge of emergency management. He hosted the Korean ambassador at the U.S. mission. And, he sat with the E.U.'s Brexit negotiator. Sondland had hoped that by staying quiet and going about his business that he could stay 'out of the spotlight' of the impeachment drama unfolding at the U.S. Capitol, according to a close associate. …

"Trump has not spoken with Sondland in the two months since the explosive testimony, according to two senior U.S. officials. The two last saw each other at the White House on Oct. 2 for the Finnish president's visit." WaPo

OUCH! -- "'Where Is Kevin?' McCarthy Finds His Voice as Trump's Mouthpiece," by NYT's Elizabeth Williamson: "'Congress no longer operates as an independent branch of government, but as an appendage of the executive branch,' said Tom Davis, a former Republican House member from Virginia. 'He is made for that role.'"

… AND GAETZ GETS FROZEN OUT … MELANIE ZANONA and MARIANNE LEVINE: "Rep. Matt Gaetz, one of President Donald Trump's staunchest allies on Capitol Hill, suspects a senior White House aide pushed to keep him off the president's impeachment defense team — weeks after the Florida Republican voted to rein in Trump's war powers.

"Gaetz (R-Fla.) was in the mix to become one of Trump's impeachment advisers, a group of House Republicans who are expected to assist the White House with messaging and strategy throughout the Senate impeachment trial. But Gaetz — a conservative firebrand who caught Trump's eye through his feisty appearances and memorable soundbites on cable news — did not make the final list, which ultimately included eight other House Republicans.

"Gaetz said he wasn't sure why he didn't make the cut. But Gaetz said he heard from someone in the White House that legislative affairs director Eric Ueland was 'responsible for the brush back.' 'I don't know why it would serve someone in the White House to manufacture a divide between the president and one of his best communicators during impeachment,' Gaetz said in an interview. …

"'While the Trump administration was disappointed in Mr. Gaetz's vote, the president's successful policy to reduce Iranian terror and misbehavior proves the path laid out by the president is working,' Ueland said in a statement. 'We look forward to working with Mr. Gaetz in the future.'" POLITICO

WSJ'S JOHN MCCORMICK in Cresco, Iowa: "What the Biggest Swing County in Iowa Says About 2020: Both Trump and Obama won big in Howard County. While the president is likely to win such small, rural places again, the size of his margins could be crucial": "The rural county, located in northeast Iowa near the Minnesota border, is the only one of America's more than 3,000 counties that voted by more than 20 percentage points for Mr. Obama in 2012 and by more than 20 percentage points for Mr. Trump in 2016. It swung 41 points, the second-biggest flip in the nation.

"Recent interviews with dozens of voters here suggest that most of Mr. Trump's 2016 supporters … plan to stick with him, even though some said they have grown weary of his personal behavior and trade fights. "The anti-tax organization is expected this week to launch a seven-figure advertising offensive targeting Granger, a 12-term congresswoman who serves as the ranking Republican member of the influential Appropriations committee. At 7:15 p.m., he'll leave for the airport, where he'll fly back to D.C. He's expected at Andrews at 9:40 p.m., and at the White House by 10 p.m.

Terkuaknya Duit Miliaran di Rekening 'Raja' Keraton Agung Sejagat

Beritaterheboh.com - Polisi menemukan aliran uang miliaran Rupiah di rekening 'raja' Keraton Agung Sejagat, Toto Santoso. Hasil penelusuran polisi sejauh ini telah mengungkap sejumlah fakta. Apa saja?

"Jadi itu dana yang kita cek dari 10 tabungan yang kita sita, lalu kita hitung. Nah, dana yang masuk sekitar Rp 1,3 M dan itu total yang kita hitung dari 10 tabungan," ujar Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Tengah, Kombes Iskandar Fitriana Sutisna di Keraton Agung Sejagat, Desa Pogung Juru Tengah, RT 03 RW 01, Kecamatan Bayan, Kabupaten Purworejo, Rabu (22/1).

Dana itu, kata Iskandar masuk ke kantong Toto dari tahun 2018-2019. Iskandar menjelaskan dana itu berasal dari iuran para anggota Toto.



'Raja' Toto diketahui pernah membuat Yogyakarta Development Committee (DEC) dan lembaga lain pada 2018-2019 untuk mencari untung.

"Sebagian besar dana itu sudah habis digunakan dan tinggal sisa Rp 20 jutaan," ujarnya.

Duit itu pun diduga sudah habis digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan 'Raja' dan 'Ratu' Keraton Agung Sejagat. Khususnya untuk pembangunan bangunan keraton.

Sebelumnya, Direskrimum Polda Jateng, Kombes Budi Haryanto juga mengungkap ada uang Rp 1,4 miliar yang masuk ke rekening 'Raja' Toto pada 13 Desember 2019. Belum ada penjelasan lebih lanjut soal kaitan uang Rp 1,3 miliar dari 10 buku tabungan di atas dengan Rp 1,4 miliar yang diceritakan oleh Budi.

"Saya lihat tanggal 13 Desember (2019) ada uang masuk sekitar Rp 1,4 M," ujar Direskrimum Polda Jawa Tengah Kombes Budi Haryanto di kantornya, Jalan Pahlawan, Semarang, Selasa (21/1).


Budi mengungkapkan jawaban Toto selalu alot tiap dimintai keterangan soal uang. Namun diketahui, setiap ada uang yang masuk ke rekeningnya, Toto akan langsung menarik tunai uang tersebut.

"Jadi (uang) masuk langsung ambil (tarik tunai)," lanjutnya.

Diwawancara terpisah, Mahamenteri Keraton Agung Sejagat, Chikmawan Muhsin (53) mengaku tidak tahu dari mana dana untuk membangun keraton di Purworejo. Namun, ia mengaku mengeluarkan uang untuk membantu biaya pembangunan keraton.

"Keluar materi, tapi kira-kira berapa saya lupa," kata Chikmawan saat ditemui di Keraton Agung Sejagat, Purworejo, Rabu (22/1).

Ketika ditanya apakah materi yang ia keluarkan mencapai ratusan juta, Chikmawan yang juga merupakan pemilik lahan keraton itu menggelengkan kepala. Ia menjawab saat wartawan menyebut nominal puluhan juta rupiah.

Alasan Anies ogah berkomentar karena menganggap masalah itu hanya ramai di media sosial, Twitter.

Hal ini diungkap Anies saat tengah menjalani sesi tanya jawab bersama wartawan seusai melakukan pencanangan fasilitas transit TransJakarta-MRT di Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, Rabu (22/1/2020). Padahal, tidak sedikit jurnalis yang bertanya pada Anies soal penebangan pohon di Monas itu.

"Itu ramai di twitter aja, nanti itu," ujar Anies.

Isu soal penggundulan karena revitalisasi Monas ini tengah menjadi sorotan publik. Pasalnya, lebih dari 190 pohon ditebang karena perjalanan proyek ini.

Anies yang enggan menjawab justru meminta agar jurnalis bertanya kepada Kepala Dinas Cipta Karya, Tata Ruang, dan Pertanahan (Citata) Heru Hermawanto.

"Nanti Kepala Dinas Citata saja yang jelasin," pungkasnya.

Diketahui, setelah disorot karena masalah penebangan pohon, beberapa polemik revitalisasi Monas lainnya mulai muncul. Di antaranya seperti kantor kontraktor PT Bahana Prima Nusantara, pengerjaan yang terlambat, hingga penggunaan anggaran yang tak sesuai.

Pihak Citata sendiri mengatakan akan menanam kembali pohon di kawasan parkiran IRTI yang akan menjadi ruang terbuka hijau. Selain itu, pihak kontraktor juga disebutnya sudah berpengalaman hingga tak perlu diragukan hanya dari kantornya.(suara.com)

Terutama akhir-akhir ini kan agak heboh di media soal kontraktor revitalisasi monas," kata anggota Tim Advokasi PSI Jakarta, Patriot Muslim di Gedung Merah Putih Jakarta, Kamis, 23 Januari 2020.

Patriot menjelaskan, berdasarkan penelusuran media dan penelusuran dari tim advokasi, kantor kontraktor yang beralamat di Ciracas itu tak ditemukan. Ada pula informasi bahwa kontraktor itu berada di Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Putih. "Itu juga enggak jelas malah, tambah banyak yang enggak tahu, pas kami selidiki di Letjen Suprapto itu."

Patriot mengatakan, selain alamat kantor kontraktor, PSI juga melaporkan Pemprov mengenai SKPD yang meloloskan kontraktor itu. Dalam pelaporan ini pihaknya menyertakan sejumlah bukti berupa dokumen foto kantor dan sejumlah link media. "Masih banyak yang harus didalami, kami ingin bersinergi dengan KPK sampai bisa menjernihkan masalah ini." Hal ini dilakukan agar kecurigaan itu meresahkan masyarakat.


PSI ingin menggandeng KPK agar bisa menjernihkan isu-isu yang berkembang itu. Jika ditemukan adanya pelanggaran, perlu diusut. Namun jika tak ada pelanggaran, kata Patriot, hal itu juga mesti diterangkan secara terang-benderang oleh KPK.(tempo.co)

Warga Tanah Merah Baru Kumpulkan 9000 Telur, Akan Ganti 20.000 Telur Ke Lions Club. Ini Pengakuannya

Beritaterheboh.com - Tumpukan telur tersusun rapi di halaman depan gedung sekretariat RW 07 Kampung Tanah Merah, Jakarta Utara. Tak jauh dari tumpukan itu sejumlah warga tengah berkumpul dan berbincang asik dengan kopi dan rokok mereka. 

Kantor RW itu memang menjadi ramai belakangan ini oleh warga yang datang untuk memberikan telur. Aktivitas sudah berlangsung sejak Selasa (21/1), meskipun baru secara masif dilakukan pada pukul 10.00 WIB.

Di meja panjang yang berada di tengah halaman itu kumparan bertemu dengan Ketua Forum Komunikasi Tanah Merah Bersatu, Mohamad Huda. Ia mengatakan tumpukan telur yang ada di sekretariat RW 07 akan dikembalikan ke organisasi masyarakat Lion's Club.

Kegiatan mengumpulkan telur itu disebarkan di media sosial melalui akun @fktmb. Mereka juga menyertakan #kembalikantelurlions.

Menurut Huda jumlah target terkumpulnya sesuai dengan yang tertulis di akun facebook KP Norman Hadinegoro yaitu 17.800 butir. Waktunya hanya dua hari atau sampai Jumat (24/1). Saat kumparan mewawancarainya, jumlah telur yang terkumpul sebanyak 9.395.

"Kami sudah bertekad bulat, panitia dan teman-teman warga Tanah Merah sudah mengumpulkan dan hari ini sudah 9 ribuan yang kami kumpulkan. Kalau memang klaimnya 17.800 kalau kita bisa lebih 20.000 ya ga masalah," kata Huda, Rabu (22/1).

"Yang terpenting jangan sampai kami itu terkena imbas atas fitnah dan berita bohong itu," tambahnya.

Berita bohong yang dimaksud Huda ialah soal tulisan di akun facebook KP Norman yang merupakan bagian dari Lion's Club. Isinya menuding Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan numpang tenar di kegiatan baksos Lion's Club yang digelar di Kampung Tanah Merah pada Sabtu (18/1).

"Warga bergotong royong, bukan yang dibagikan (Lion's Club lalu) kembali. Kami tidak, itu karena sudah diterima warga ya sudah kita beli lagi, dari warga ya untuk dikembalikan kepada mereka karena kami berpikir jangan sampai alasan kemanusiaan itu ataupun atas dasar belas kasihan warga kurang mampu ini, tapi di lain pihak mereka bicara soal mempolitisasi dan sebagainya. Mempolitisasi bahwa ini acara baksos yang dihadiri oleh Gubernur dan klaim sepihak gitu loh. Akhirnya ya sudahlah kita balikin sekalian," kata Huda.(Kumparan.com)

MUI Bantah Mau Keluarkan Fatwa Haram Netflix, Begini Katanya

Beritaterheboh.com - Jagat media sosial sedang ramai dengan kabar Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) siap memberikan fatwa haram kepada platform streaming video Netflix karena beberapa kontennya dinilai tidak aman dan tidak sesuai dengan norma agama.


Dalam pemberitaan yang beredar luas, kesiapan MUI melabeli Netflix haram itu disampaikan oleh Ketua Komisi Fatwa MUI, Prof. Dr. Hasanuddin AF. Tim kumparan kemudian meminta konfirmasi langsung ke Hasanuddin.

Dalam sambungan telepon dengan kumparan, Hasanuddin menjelaskan, dirinya sebagai pemimpin untuk urusan fatwa di MUI sejauh ini tak memiliki niat untuk mengeluarkan fatwa haram pada Netflix. Dirinya juga mengaku tak mengetahui produk Netflix.

Terkait dengan ramainya pemberitaan MUI akan mengeluarkan fatwa haram dengan narasumber Hasanuddin, ia menjelaskan bahwa pernyataan itu bukan berasal dari dirinya.
"Saya sampai saat ini belum tahu apa itu Netflix. Jadi, saya belum bisa komentar apa-apa. Kalau ada berita atau pernyataan saya di medsos, itu sama sekali bukan pernyataan saya, karena saya belum tahu apa itu Netflix, apalagi siap memfatwakan keharaman Netflix tersebut. Jadi, enggak benar itu," jelasnya saat dihubungi Kamis (23/1).


Dihubungi secara terpisah, Asrorun Niam, Sekretaris Komisi Fatwa MUI, mengatakan dalam tugas utamanya, MUI dapat memberikan pandangan yang berkaitan dengan hukum Islam atau fatwa yang berhubungan dengan sosial budaya dan perkembangan teknologi. Dalam kategori ini, menurut Asrorun, Netflix bisa masuk di dalamnya.

"MUI memiliki fatwa-fatwa terkait dengan sosial budaya dan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Di antaranya, fatwa tentang bermuamalah melalui media sosial. Fatwa yang menjelaskan tentang masalah perfilman, Netflix itu kan platform, ibarat penyedia jasa," katanya.

Asrorun mengingatkan bagi penyedia jasa konten hiburan yang beroperasi di Indonesia harus mematuhi hukum yang berlaku. Produsen tidak boleh menjual atau menampilkan konten-konten yang dilarang negara dan agama, seperti pornografi dan lainnya.

"Setiap orang tidak boleh membuat platform yang menjual, mengedarkan, dan/atau memuat konten terlarang, baik secara hukum maupun secara agama," ungkapnya.

Saat ini, pembahasan Netflix sedang hangat-hangat menjadi perhatian. Mulai dari masalah pemblokiran oleh Telkom Grup, pembayar pajak, badan usaha tetap di Indonesia, hingga pembatasan konten-konten yang dianggap tidak aman untuk anak-anak.(Kumparan.com/Artikel Asli)

Disebut Setneg Belum Ajukan Ijin Revitalisasi Monas, Ini Pembelaan Pemprov DKI

Beritaterheboh.com - Revitalisasi kawasan Monumen Nasional (Monas), Jakarta, yang tengah dilakukan Pemprov DKI Jakarta menuai kontroversi. 

Revitalisasi tersebut dilakukan tanpa mengantongi izin dari Komisi Pengarah dan melewati tahapan-tahapan yang telah diatur. 

Sekretaris Utama Kemensetneg Setya Utama menyebutkan, keberadaan Komisi Pengarah ini tertuang dalam Keputusan Presiden (Keppres) Nomor 25 Tahun 1995 tentang Pembangunan Kawasan Medan Merdeka di Wilayah Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota Jakarta. 

Adapun Komisi Pengarah terdiri dari gabungan tujuh instansi. Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno menjabat sebagai ketuanya dan Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan sebagai sekretaris.  

Setya menambahkan, sebelum revitalisasi dilakukan, seharusnya Pemprov DKI mengajukan izin terlebih dahulu kepada Komisi Pengawas untuk selanjutnya dilalukan pembahasan. 


"Nah, tugas pengarah itu memberikan pendapat dan pengarahan terhadap Badan Pelaksana. Tugasnya memberikan persetujuan terhadap perencanaan beserta pembiayaan pembangunan Taman Medan Merdeka. 

Kemudian melakukan pengendalian," ujar Setya saat dihubungi Kompas.com, Kamis (23/1/2020). Setelah permohonan izin diajukan, lanjut Satya, setiap anggota Komisi Pengawas akan memberikan masukannya. 

Terkait revitalisasi Monas, berbagai kementerian dan lembaga semestinya memberi pendapat. 

"Jadi ini pendapat kolektif ya. Karena kan dalam Komisi Pengarah semua sektor ada di sana ya, PU ada, Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup, jadi terkait penebangan pohon harusnya lingkungan hidup, iya kan," kata dia. 

"Terkait historikal dari Monas, harusnya ada LSP-P3 dan Kebudayaan, akses transportasi ada Kementerian Perhubungan di sana, ada Kementerian Pariwisata juga dari sisi itu," lanjutnya.  

Jika tahapan ini telah dilalui dan semua anggota setuju dengan rencana revitalisasi, maka surat izin baru dapat diterbitkan.

Menurut Setya, izin pelaksanaan tersebut biasanya akan disertai dengan rekomendasi dan persyaratan tertentu dari masing-masing anggota Komisi Pengarah. 

Sayangnya, revitalisasi Monas yang kini tengah dikerjakan Pemprov DKI tak melalui tahapan-tahapan tersebut. 

"Jadi Komisi Pengarah ini enggak tahu kalau tiba-tiba kemudian dilaksanakan (revitalisasi) itu enggak tahu. Kemudian rame, tiba-tiba rame di media bahwa sudah mulai pelaksanaan, sudah mulai penebangan pohon, Komisi Pengarah tidak tahu," sebut Setya. 

Terkait revitalisasi Monas yang sudah mulai dikerjakan meski belum mengantongi izin, Setya menyebut hal tersebut akan dibicarakan lebih lanjut di internal Komisi Pengarah. 

Komisi D DPRD DKI Jakarta telah memanggil Dinas Cipta Karya untuk meminta penjelasan soal revitalisasi kawasan Monas dalam rapat pada Rabu (22/1/2020). 

Dalam rapat itu, Ketua Komisi D DPRD DKI Jakarta Ida Mahmudah meminta revitalisasi Monas dihentikan sementara. 

Alasannya, Pemprov DKI Jakarta belum mengantongi izin dari Kemensetneg. Sementara itu, Asisten Pembangunan dan Lingkungan Hidup DKI Jakarta Yusmada Faizal dan Kepala Dinas Cipta Karya Heru Hermawanto secara implisit mengakui bahwa Pemprov DKI belum mengajukan izin ke Kemensetneg. 

Yusmada mengatakan, Pemprov DKI memiliki hak pengelolaan kawasan Monas. Hal itulah yang mendasari revitalisasi Monas. 

Selain itu, kata Yusmada, revitalisasi Monas dimulai dengan sayembara desain. 

Salah satu panitia sayembara itu berasal dari Kemensetneg. Meskipun demikian, Pemprov DKI akan mengecek terlebih dahulu apakah harus mengajukan izin ke Kemensetneg untuk merevitalisasi Monas. 

"Aturannya seperti apa, nanti akan diperjelas. Apakah setiap kegiatan Monas harus izin, saya cari tahu dulu," tutur Yusmada dalam rapat bersama Komisi D. 

Sementara itu, Heru berujar, Keppres Nomor 25 Tahun 1995 tidak mengatur soal izin kepada Kemensetneg. Dalam keppres itu, Kemensetneg berperan sebagai Komisi Pengarah yang bertugas memberikan pendapat, arahan, dan menyetujui rencana pembangunan kawasan Monas yang disusun oleh badan pelaksana. Badan pelaksana dipimpin oleh Gubernur DKI Jakarta. 

"Sebenarnya di dalam keppres itu enggak disebut dengan izin bahasanya, karena sebenarnya itu harusnya ada mekanisme kerja, di situ kan disebut pembentukan badan. Pengarah sifatnya memberikan pertimbangan, arahan," kata Heru. 

Meskipun demikian, Heru menyatakan akan mencermati keppres tersebut. Bila aturan itu memang mengharuskan Pemprov DKI mengajukan izin kepada Kemensetneg, Pemprov DKI akan melakukannya.

 "Nanti kalau memang harus kami lengkapi, kami lengkapi semuanya," ucapnya. Heru juga akan melaporkan permintaan DPRD soal moratorium revitalisasi Monas kepada Gubernur DKI Anies Baswedan.

"Aku lebih peduli sama harga diriku daripada fisikku. Jadi nggak ada waktu buat perawatan lah," ucap Siwi Sidi menjawab cibiran netizen.

"Ya manusiawi lah kalau jerawatan, yang nggak manusiawi itu orang memberitakan orang lain dengan berita palsu biar dia dapat duit, itu yang jahat dan tidak manusiawi," tambahnya.

Sementara itu, dilihat di laman Instagram miliknya, ia baru saja mengunggah Insta Story miliknya yang memperlihatkan wajahnya yang 'mulus' dengan memakai kacamata hitam.

Saat Jadi Gubernur, Djarot Cerita Koordinasi ke Setneg untuk Revitalisasi Monas. Begini Katanya

Beritaterheboh.com - Djarot Saiful Hidayat sempat merevitalisasi Monas saat menjabat Gubernur DKI Jakarta. Dia mengaku sempat berkoordinasi dengan Sekretariat Negara (Setneg) untuk merevitalisasi Air Mancur Menari di Monas pada 2017.

"Koordinasi dengan Setneg. Untuk revitalisasi air mancur, tujuannya mengembalikan fungsi aslinya karena lama tidak difungsikan sehingga rusak dan tidak terawat," ucap Djarot saat dihubungi, Rabu (22/1/2020).


Namun Djarot tidak memastikan apakah setiap revitalisasi wajib koordinasi atau izin kepada Setneg atau tidak.


"Saya lupa, tetapi yang pasti kita koordinasikan dengan Setneg," kata Djarot.

Diketahui, polemik soal revitalisasi Monas harus meminta izin kepada Setneg diutarakan oleh Komisi D DPRD DKI Jakarta. Komisi D berpegang pada Keputusan Gubernur Nomor 25 Tahun 1995 tentang Penataan Kawasan Medan Merdeka.


"Pokoknya semua kegiatan di Monas Bapak hentikan sementara sampai ada persetujuan dari Mensesneg. Terkait Kepres, semua aturan (daerah) tetap kalah dengan Kepres," kata Ketua Komisi D DPRD DKI Jakarta, Ida Mahmudah, saat Komisi D menggelar rapat dengan Pemprov DKI Jakarta di gedung DPRD DKI Jakarta, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jakarta Pusat.

Sementara itu, Dinas Cipta Karya Tata Ruang dan Pertanahan (CKTRP) belum memutuskan akan menghentikan revitalisasi Monas seperti saran DPRD DKI Jakarta. Dinas akan melapor kepada Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan soal usul tersebut.

"Nanti akan kami laporkan (kepada Anies). Kalau menang harus kami hentikan, sementara kan sifatnya, kalau memang harus kami lengkapi, kami lengkapi," kata Kepala Dinas CKTRP Heru Hermawanto di gedung DPRD DKI Jakarta.

Heru akan mencermati soal Keputusan Presiden Nomor 25 Tahun 1995 tentang Penataan Kawasan Medan Merdeka. Peraturan itu menjadi dasar DPRD menghentikan sementara revitalisasi karena belum ada izin dari Sekretariat Negara.

"Ini kita cermati betul. Karena awalnya Keppres 25 pada waktu itu menyusun dengan asumsi pelaksanaan dibebankan kepada APBN, jelas di pasal itu, yang harus perbaikan itu pemerintah pusat," ucap Heru.(detik.com)

Dinilai Hina Profesi Satpam, Denny Cagur dan Parto Disomasi

Keduanya dinilai melecehkan profesi satpam saat mengisi acara Opera Van Java.

"Kita kirimkan somasi dan kita lihat tanggapannya nanti seperti apa," kata Ketua Biro Advokasi Satpam Indonesia Bonny Andalanta Tarigan ditemui saat jumpa pers di Bakoel Koffie kawasan Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (22/1/2020).

Bukan cuma Parto dan Denny Cagur, organisasi tersebut juga mensomasi produser eksekutif OVJ. Lewat somasi ini, Bonny berharap masalah bisa diselesaikan secara baik-baik.

"Kita bisa duduk bersama meluruskan persepsi. Dengan begitu menurut kami, kita bisa nanti menemukan jalan tengah, apa-apa yang harus dilakukan, mereka ini kan publik figur jadi tentunya mereka juga merupakan seorang yang sangat baik untuk menyampaikan profesi satpam itu seperti apa," ujarnya menjelaskan.

Episode Overa Van Java yang disoal tayang pada Jumat (17/1/2020) pukul 20.00 di Trans TV. Di episode tersebut, Parto dan Denny Cagur gunakan atribut Satuan Pengamanan atau dikenal Satpam.

Namun, atribut satpam dan lontaran lelucon yang disampaikan di acara tersebut dinilai telah menghina profesi satpam di seluruh Indonesia.(suara.com)

MUI Siap Keluarkan Fatwa Haram untuk Netflix Lantaran.......

Beritaterheboh.com -  Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) sudah siap mengeluarkan fatwa haram untuk platform Netflix jika terbukti ditemukan ada konten negatif.

Ketua Dewan Fatwa MUI, Hasanuddin mengakui media sosial dan platform digital dewasa ini rentan disusupi konten negatif yang tidak sesuai dengan norma agama dan norma hukum di Indonesia. Dia menyarankan agar seluruh pemangku kepentingan terkait bersama-sama melakukan filter terhadap konten yang ditayangkan oleh Netflix di Tanah Air.

Ia menyarankan agar pemerintah hadir untuk melindungi masyarakat dari konten negatif dengan memblokir layanan yang masih menayangkan konten negatif. "Termasuk jika ada konten negatif di Netflix," kata Hasanuddin, Rabu 22 Januari 2020.

Dia menjelaskan hingga saat ini, MUI masih belum menerima laporan dari masyarakat ihwal konten negatif tersebut di Netflix. Padahal, menurutnya, fatwa seputar perilaku seks menyimpang, kekerasan pornografi dan terorisme serta kekerasan sudah memiliki fatwanya sendiri, sehingga MUI hanya tinggal menunggu laporan dari masyarakat saja.

"Namun jika ada komponen masyarakat yang merasa keberatan dengan layanan Netflix dan membutuhkan fatwa, MUI akan segera pelajari dan akan kami putuskan dalam sidang pleno fatwa MUI. Mengeluarkan fatwa terhadap konten negatif di Netflix, MUI tak membutuhkan waktu yang lama," katanya.

Dia mengapresiasi langkah Telkom Group yang telah memblokir konten negatif di Netflix. Menurut Hasanuddin, apa yang sudah dilakukan Telkom Group tersebut sudah benar, untuk melindungi generasi penerus bangsa dari konten negatif.

"Pemblokiran yang dilakukan oleh Telkom Group merupakan tanggung jawab sosial mereka untuk memproteksi dan menjaga masyarakat dari tayangan yang tidak baik karena mengandung unsur konten negatif seperti pornografi, penyimpangan seks, kekerasan dan terorisme," ujarnya.(Tempo.co/artikel Asli)

Herannya Polisi Dengar Cerita Ari Sigit soal MeMiles

Beritaterheboh.com - Ari Haryo Wibowo Harjojudanto alias Ari Sigit telah dimintai keterangan sebagai saksi kasus investasi bodong MeMiles selama 6 jam. Ada kesaksian cucu Presiden ke-2 RI, Soeharto, ini yang sempat membuat polisi terheran-heran.

Pemeriksaan ini berawal saat penyidik Polda Jawa Timur menjadwalkan akan meminta keterangan dari Keluarga Cendana terkait kasus MeMiles. Penyidik lalu memanggil 3 orang anggota Keluarga Cendana yakni Ari Sigit bersama istrinya, Frederica Francisca Callebaut serta Ibunda Ari Sigit, Ilsye A Rahmawati.

Namun pada Rabu 22 Januari 2020, hanya Ari Sigit yang memenuhi panggilan polisi. Sementara istri dan ibu Ari Sigit berhalangan hadir dan meminta dijadwal ulang pemanggilannya. Ari kemudian menjalani pemeriksaan di Mapolda Jatim, Jalan Ahmad Yani, Surabaya, pada Rabu 22 Januari 2020 sejak pukul 10.25 WIB hingga 16.00 WIB.

Rasa keheranan penyidik terhadap pengakuan Ari Sigit mulanya sempat diungkapkan oleh Kapolda Jatim Irjen Luki Hermawan. Luki mengaku penyidik heran Ari Sigit menerima aliran dana MeMiles. Padahal, Ari Sigit bukanlah member MeMiles dan tidak top up. "Kami lihat, dari hasil pemeriksaan ini, yang jelas masih ada penambahan, karena ada aliran dana masuk, ada reward yang diterima," kata Luki yang enggan merinci besar aliran dana tersebut.

"Nah, inilah yang kami tangani berapa aliran dana yang diterima dan sebagai apa. Namun di dalam ini (Ari Sigit) tidak ada sebagai member, tidak top up, tapi ada aliran dana masuk. Kalau istrinya itu memang top up, member," ungkap Luki.

Pemeriksaan terhadap Ari Sigit terus berjalan. Pria kelahiran 3 November 1970 ini dicecar 39 pertanyaan seputar investasi bodong dengan 264 ribu nasabah ini.
Selama pemeriksaan enam jam ini, penyidik menemukan fakta-fakta baru yang membuat kasus ini semakin terang benderang.


Ari Sigit yang mengenakan kemeja motif garis-garis warna pink ini akhirnya buka suara setelah menjalani pemeriksaan.. Dia mengaku menjadi member MeMiles. "Iya member," kata Ari seraya tertawa.


Ari Sigit menyebut telah mengembalikan dua mobil reward dari MeMiles. "(Kalau mobil) sudah, sudah kami serahkan. Ada dua. (Punya) ada di keluargalah, pokoknya nanti akan kami serahkan," kata Ari.

Saat disinggung dirinya menerima apa saja dari MeMiles, Ari mengaku hanya mobil. "Sementara ini, itu saja (mobil)," ungkapnya.

Dalam kesempatan itu, Ari Sigit juga mengutarakan harapan Keluarga Cendana. "Ya pihak keluarga menginginkan ini cepat kelar," kata Ari. Menurut Ari, kehadirannya ini merupakan salah satu bentuk ketaatannya pada hukum.

Pernyataan Ari sebagai member MeMiles ini cukup bertolak belakang. Sebab, Kapolda Jatim Irjen Luki Hermawan mengatakan pihaknya sempat menyebut Ari bukanlah member. Namun, Ari menerima sejumlah reward dan aliran dana.

Atas perbedaan penyataan itu, Kabid Humas Polda Jatim Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko angkat bicara. Truno menjelaskan Ari Sigit akhirnya mengaku bergabung menjadi member MeMiles sejak dua bulan lalu. Ari Sigit juga diperkirakan belum menerima reward. "Sekira 2 bulan, dari bulan November dan Desember, (untuk reward) saya kira belum diterima," kata Truno.

Tentang dua unit mobil yang diserahkan Ari Sigit kepada polisi, Truno memastikan kendaraan mewah itu bukan milik Ari Sigit. "Bukan, mobil ini kan dari pihak keluarga ada dua. Nah ini belum juga pemeriksaan karena berhalangan dia kondisinya, tapi mendapatkan reward karena member dan top up, dapatlah dua unit milik istri dan ibu," ujarnya.

Menurut Truno, dua mobil Toyota Alphard keluarga Cendana yang merupakan reward dari investasi bodong MeMiles kini telah disita polisi.

Soal dugaan aliran dana yang masuk ke rekening Ari Sigit, Truno membenarkan hal ini. "Iya, nanti ini masih dalam proses penyidikan, maka itu lebih lanjut kami akan sampaikan pada press conference berikutnya," pungkas Truno.(detik.com)

Revitalisasi Monas Harus Ada Izin dari Komisi Pengarah, Setneg Beberkan Alasannya...

Beritaterheboh.com - Kementerian Sekretariat Negara (Kemensetneg) mengatakan revitalisasi Monas belum mendapatkan izin dari Komisi Pengarah Pembangunan Kawasan Medan Merdeka. Izin mengenai revitalisasi Monas ini sebelumnya disinggung dalam rapat di Komisi D DPRD DKI.

"Mungkin bisa dilihat di Keppres 25 Tahun 1995 tentang Pembangunan Kawasan Medan Merdeka ya. Mungkin bisa dibaca di sana tentang komisi pengarah dan badan pelaksana tugasnya apa saja. Tapi yang jelas bisa saya sampaikan bahwa pembangunan itu, revitalisasi itu belum ada izin dan memang belum pernah ada pengajuan izin," kata Sekretaris Utama Kemensetneg Setya Utama saat dihubungi, Rabu (22/1/2020).

Komisi Pengarah yang dimaksud Setya merupakan istilah yang tertuang dalam Keppres Nomor 25 Tahun 1995 tentang Pembangunan Kawasan Medan Merdeka. Berdasarkan peraturan tersebut, Setya menegaskan izin itu bukan dikeluarkan dari Kemensetneg, melainkan dari Komisi Pengarah.


"Jadi bukan Setneg karena itu kolektif ada enam kementerian kalau nggak salah, sekretaris komisi pengarah itu sendiri Pak Gubernur, sebagai sekretaris komisi pengarah merangkap sebagai ketua badan pelaksana," ujar dia.


Di Pasal 4 Kepres Nomor 25 Tahun 1995 dijelaskan mengenai susunan keanggotaan Komisi Pengarah, sebagai berikut:

1. Menteri Negara Sekretaris Negara: sebagai Ketua merangkap anggota;
2. Menteri Pekerjaan Umum: sebagai anggota;
3. Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup: sebagai anggota;
4. Menteri Perhubungan: sebagai anggota;
5. Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan: sebagai anggota;
6. Menteri Pariwisata, Pos dan
Telekomunikasi: sebagai anggota;
7. Gubernur Kepala Daerah Khusus
Ibu kota Jakarta: sebagai Sekretaris, merangkap anggota.

Lantas, jika belum mendapatkan izin dari Komisi Pengarah, apakah revitalisasi Monas harus dihentikan?

"Memang tidak diatur dalam Keppres tersebut nanti tim pengarah akan bicarakan itu," kata Setya.


Sebelumnya, Komisi D menyebut Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta belum mengantongi izin Setneg untuk melakukan revitalisasi Monas. Masalah izin ini, menurutnya, sesuai dengan Keppres 25 Tahun 1995 tentang Penataan Kawasan Medan Merdeka.


"Sampai hari ini belum ada permintaan dari Pemda DKI terhadap revitalisasi kawasan Monas. Ini informasi dari Setneg," ucap anggota Komisi D Pantas Nainggolan saat rapat dengan Pemprov DKI Jakarta di gedung DPRD DKI Jakarta, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (20/1).

Asisten Sekda Bidang Pembangunan dan Lingkungan Hidup Yusmada Faizal menyebut Pemprov memiliki hak pengelolaan. Namun, untuk lebih jelasnya, akan dilakukan kajian dan dilaporkan kembali kepada Komisi D.

"Masterplan Monas kan hak pengelolaan kawasan dari DKI. Kita semua yang merawat. Dari Ruang Agung, tugu. Tapi aturan seperti apa, nanti akan diperjelas. Bahkan UPK (Unit Pengelola Kawasan), itu kita," ucap Yusmada.(detik.com/Artikel Asli)

Beritaterheboh.com - Star Media Nusantara dan MNC Group akhirnya memboikot artis Nikita Mirzani. Pemboikotan tersebut merupakan buntut dari amukan Nikita Mirzani kepada awak media yang hendak melakukan wawancara dengannya, Rabu (22/1/2020).

Berdasarkan informasi yang diterima redaksi threechannel pada Rabu malam, Star Media Nusantara dan MNC Group menilai artis Nikita Mirzani telah bersikap tidak baik dan tidak menyenangkan dengan mengeluarkan kalimat yang tidak sepantasnya kepada tim liputan Starpro dan MNC Group.



"Sesuai dengan arahan dari Ibu Lina Priscilla, dengan ini kami menginfokan kepad semua unit di MNC Group untuk tidak menggunakan, menampilkan dan menayangkan Nikita Mirzani sebagai pengisi acara maupun materi berita. Mohon perihal ini dapat diinformasikan kepada bagian terkait," ujar Kania selaku Marketing Communication Star Media Nusantara.

Menanggapi isu blacklist nya dari acara TV MNC Group Nikita Mirzani lantas menumpahkan kekesalannya di instastory.

Nikita Mirzani mengungkapkan sebelum dirinya di blacklist, Nikita Mirzani sudah memblacklist media tersebut.

Nikita Mirzani juga menantang media tersebut untuk menghapus semua video tentang dirinya.


Sebelumnya, artis Nikita Mirzani geram hingga meluapkan kemarahannya kepada beberapa awak media yang ingin melakukan sesi wawancara. Kejadian itu terjadi usai dirinya mengisi program Pagi Pagi Pasti Happy.

"Mana Starpro (MNC) sama KH najis gue diwawancara sama lo," kata Nikita Mirzani saat ditemui di jalan Kapten P Tendean, Jakarta Selatan, Rabu (22/1/2020).



Janda tiga anak ini mengaku kesal gara-gara rumahnya sering disambangi oleh wartawan tersebut.

"Pasti lo mau wawancara gue kan. Mana MNC tuh dateng-dateng rumah gue mulu," ungkap Nikita Mirzani.

Bahkan saat awak media lain berusaha meminta waktu buat wawancara, Nikita Mirzani menolak. Mantan istri Sajad Ukra ini pun hampir mendorong jatuh salah satu awak media buat bergegas masuk ke dalam mobilnya.

"Awas nggak ada, gue jorokin lo, kali ini gue kasar," ucapnya seraya meninggalkan wartawan.(bt)
